Time sensitive note: There will be a plein aire weekend workshop on October 10-12. The instructor is Arkansas artist Bill Garrison. It is only $200 if you register before Aug. 15. Phyllis, Carol B. and Suzanne have already signed up for this GREAT opportunity for growth in our art. If you want more info and the registration form, I will put it on the blog and Facebook OR just email me at suzanne.lebeau@att.net.

August classes: Claire Smith will be providing abstract classes for the month of August. The dates will be Aug 4, 11, and 18. She asks that you bring a pair of scissors and a glue stick for the first class. We have a few extras if you don’t have these items around the house. Also bring supplies for whatever medium you prefer working in. (watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel…) You are responsible for your paper or board to work on, all supplies, and don’t forget the paper towels. *MAL only supplies paper towels to dry our hands in the bathrooms or kitchen!
