NOTE: The gallery is closed to the public on Weekends until late April. We are still open on Monday nights! . The gates will be opened for parking in the Village. Do not park on any sidewalk. Don’t park on the inner circle, so fire truck can get through. Don’t park past end of garden, so fire truck can get to the hydrant. THANKS!

Boro Art Crawl http://boroartcrawl.com
We are skipping the February art crawl due to weather and no parking since the gates are not being opened at Canonsburg. We will participate in the April Boro Art Crawl (unless Cannonsburg is closed -it is Good Friday-more info later). We’ll switch out the art in the gallery after the business meeting on March 27, 2017 to open our season and get ready for crawl.
Linebaugh Library Artists of the month:
Mark will be our featured artist in February (no one scheduled for January). Check out current exhibitions http://murfreesboroartleague.blogspot.com .
Our exhibit at the Rotunda is scheduled for May 2-June 12. The reception was scheduled for the night of the Boro Art Crawl on June 9th. Members may bring 5 pieces. More info later.
Mitchell Nielson School event – We Heart the Arts (February 16, 2017 at 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm): This is a chance to show artwork (no auction this year). Bring 4 to 5 pieces to show, depending on size. Setup is promptly at 2:30 pm in the Library. Bring activities for children.
Smyrna Artists’ Co-operative is having a free watercolor painting class on Feb. 7 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Phyllis is teaching (with a business meeting afterward).
The Mindful Care Adult Day Care is still looking for painting/drawing teachers. Presently Phyllis and Suzanne are teaching. If you want more info, contact Suzanne at email@example.com.
Request for art:
Donnie Noland of EscapePoint is asking for art for waiting room and/or halls. The Murfreesboro Art League has chosen not to participate but if any individual is interested, contact Phyllis at firstname.lastname@example.org .
F & M Bank on Memorial near Goodwill Job placement site wants to do an art show – any volunteers to check this out??– Also other sites for exhibition of art? Norma is checking out Ascend Credit Union. If interested, contact Suzanne.email@example.com.
