Monday, January 30

This will be a busy day.  At 6, we have our board meeting.  At 7, we have our regular members' meeting.  Immediately following that SHORT meeting, we will have our "Eatin' Meetin" with finger foods and art showings/critiques.

This Monday will be the last of the scratchboard classes!

Next Saturday, we'll need help with the symphony.  They would like us to paint faces at their family event from 10-11 am.  Please bring brushes, palette, and paper towels.  They'll provide paints.  It's also a good idea to have a few simple designs hashed out (maybe something musical.)  Please RSVP to a board member!

For pastel artists, if you'd like a free online class on skies, go to
and sign up.  This guy is amazing.  He really does it for free, and just has a few "commercials" for paints he sponsors.  You can also buy PAST classes, which is how he makes money from this.  Again, it is FREE.

Next Monday, Jan. 30 will be our regular meeting and an "Eatin' Meetin', so bring a goody and some work to share.  We will also have a great guest lecturer.  Christian Sperka, who is the photographer for the Nashville Zoo and international photographer, will give a talk on his adventures.

February's classes will NOT be palette knife paintings due to a family commitment.  Classes tbd.
