NOTE: The gallery is closed to the public on Weekends until late April.  We are still open on Monday nights!  . The gates will be opened for parking in the Village.  Do not park on any sidewalk. Don’t park on the inner circle, so fire truck can get through. Don’t park past end of garden, so fire truck can get to the hydrant. THANKS!

March  6, 2017 is charcoal class with Carol Berning – see previous list of supplies needed.  March 13th and 20th, 2017 are oil painting classes by Carol Berning.  Hope to see you there!

Boro Art Crawl
We will participate in the April Boro Art Crawl (unless Cannonsburg is closed -it is Good Friday-more info later).  We’ll switch out the art in the gallery after the business meeting on March 27, 2017 to open our season and get ready for the Boro Art Crawl. Members are invited to help Reba arrange and hang paintings for the art crawl.  The Murfreesboro Art League will be a $250 sponsor of the Boro Art Crawl to help support their efforts.

Linebaugh Library Artists of the month:
Norma will be our featured artist in March and Kylee will be our featured artist in April .

Rotunda Exhibition: Contact person – Suzanne LeBeau at :  The Murfreesboro Art Leagu’s exhibit at the Rotunda is scheduled for May 2-June 12.  The reception is scheduled for the night of the Boro Art Crawl on June 9th, 6:00 to 9:00 pm.  Members may bring 4 to 5 pieces on May 1st from 2:00 to 4:00 pm to hang.  Submissions will be made by computer, sending copies of your art work (site to be announced later).

Life Care art exhibit in Hickory Woods off Murfreesboro Pike:  Setup will be May 12th at 4:00 pm and take down on May 19th at 4:00 pm.  Participants are allowed to hang 4 – 5 paintings.  Participants will be provided lunch on another date.  Deadline to enter is May 8th.  Contact person is Phyllis Razo at .

Road trip!  Booth Western Art Museum:  Located in Cartersville, GA.  It is the largest permanent exhibition space for Western art in The United StatesOn March 9th through 11th, they are holding their 14th Annual Southeastern Cowboy Gathering.  Some of our members are planning to drive down March 10th–spend the night (on your own) and return the evening of the 11th. Cannonsburg Pioneer days is April 22nd and request members to submit paintings for display.  We are hanging on March 27th after the business meeting (see Boro Art Crawl, 2nd Friday of April).  Reba Hinkle has been asked to be “in charge” but stated members are welcome to help (it is not a one person job).
