January Newsletter

Here's the thing. We have no January newsletter because it's the holiday and not much is going on. There are only a couple of things of note.

I had the dates of the Monday nights wrong in the last post and the sidebar on the blog, so here are the correct ones:
  • Jan 6, 13 and 20 Open Studio
  • Jan 27 – business meeting
  • Feb 3, 10, & 17 - Drawing from live models with Kylee
Have a safe and fun New Year's!

December newsletter

Ok, so I lied! We needed a December newsletter! Don't forget the Oaklands Mansion show this weekend (Dec7)

Murfreesboro Art League Newsletter Dec   2019

OAKLANDS art show:

Set-up is Thurs, Dec 5 at 1 pm. We will have a hanging committee set up the art. Bring your art, Christmas decorations, extension cords, Christmas lights, etc (all labeled, please) The show itself is from 4-8 on Sat, Dec 7. Please come with goodies for the public. We will provide hot cider, water and coffee. Pick up the art on Monday, Dec 9 between 12 and 1 pm. Each artist is responsible for bringing and picking up their art or providing a representative. *Smaller pieces or cards/prints will probably sell better at this event because people must park a good distance away. Please let your friends know that the marketplace is FREE, but there is a fee to do the candlelight tour of the home. If you want to tour, you must buy your own ticket. If you want to participate, but haven’t responded yet, please contact Phyllis at PRazo0503@aol.com/

Extra Open Studio time during the DAY:

·      We will start back up with the Friday daytime open studio from 10-1. Phyllis, Kathleen, and Ginger are interested. Kathleen and Suzanne might be interested in Wed, too.

Artists of the month:

We will not have an official artist at our gallery, since we are closed for the winter on weekends.
